Hobbledehoo

Designed by parents initially as a skiing harness for children the Hobbledehoo Active Harness has a multitude of other application in everyday life for full control over your active little ones

The name “Hobbledehoo” is a derivative from Old English; Hobbledehoy – meaning clumsy, awkward youth.

After handmade prototypes, samples tweaked, lots of testing and gaining BS EN 13210 standard for a child’s harness the finished product is here ready to launch for the 2016/17 season.

The harness features a padded chest and rear panel connected by fully adjustable webbing, clips around the chest and quick release sliders over the shoulders (that expand enough to fit over a helmet). There are two soft rubber handles; one front and one back to grab, hold or pick up the child whatever position they land in and a twin clipped detachable safety leash for using when restraint or speed control is required.

Above all else it gives you a safe handle to hold when on chair lifts (every parent’s worst nightmare when with little ones) and you know if they lose control you can grab them without the danger of being left with a detachable hood in your hands and a child face first in the snow!
